Light Refraction - Nov 23, 2021
In Science we explored light refraction; what it is, why it happens and it’s effect. Carrying out a scientific investigation, we drew an image on a piece of paper and placed it underneath a glass. We then poured water into the glass and watched what happened. Due to the light travelling through the glass and water, the change in density altered the speed at which the light travels. This then created an illusion of the image changing size or direction. Moving on from this, we also placed the image behind the glass to see another example of the impact refraction can have.
