Investigating Rocks - Sep 25, 2020
During our first Science lesson we became rock and fossil scientists. The children started by observing some rock samples very closely and compared them. They discussed the texture, colour appearance and made careful observations about each rock. Our next lesson looked at the different features of sedimentary, igneous and metamorphic rocks and the children carried out an investigation to see which rock was the hardest.
