Special Friends - Oct 11, 2021
Today was ‘the best day ever’ to quote a number of children, as they met their special friends for the first time. The children in Year 6 have been paired with a child form the Reception cohort to develop social skills for the younger child and role model characteristics for themselves. For their first meeting children had their photograph taken, spent time in the KS1 outdoor area and got to know each other. Each week the children will meet, in small groups, sharing a story and outdoor fun together to develop a memorable friendship.
