This half term Year 1 having been listening to Rap music. We have listened to lots of different songs, such as “The Fresh Prince of Bell Air” and “Run DMC.” We have appraised the music that we have listened to, discussing our likes and dislikes. Throughout the half term we have been learning our own Rap song, it’s called “Hey You.” We have played different instruments, we have composed our own beat. The most important thing we had to remember was to keep the pulse (the beat.) We wanted to show you have good we are.
