Roman Soldier Shields - Apr 27, 2022
In history this week is local history week at school. To celebrate 1900 years since Hadrian’s Wall was built we have been learning about Roman soldiers. We looked at their shields and then designed our own. First we planned them and then brought our designs to life. We found out that the shields were used to protect the soldiers in battle.
